Meet Our Pastors
Phillip D. Jackson, Senior Pastor
Rev. Phillip Jackson is a native of Miami, Florida. He was appointed pastor of Mount Sinai Cornerstone AME Church (MSCAME), Indian Head, Maryland in July 2020 to present. Prior to this appointment at MSCAME; pastored Life Change AME in Columbia, Maryland for 6 years; pastored Shorter Chapel AME in South Charleston Ohio for 4 years; Rev. Jackson served on the ministerial staff of Ebenezer AME Church in Fort Washington, Maryland for 9 years.
Karen Jackson, Assistant Pastor
Reverend Karen D. Jackson is a native of Washington, D.C. She is an ordained Itinerant Elder of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (A.M.E.) She is married to the Reverend Phillip D. Jackson. At the 70th Session of the Washington Annual Conference, Bishop James L. Davis appointed him as the pastor of Mount Sinai-Cornerstone A.M.E. Church in Indian Head, Maryland, where she is the assistant pastor. She is the proud mother of three Keith A. Moore (granddaughter, Madison), Phillip D. Jackson II (grandson, Phillip III, and Zaire), Destinee Jackson.
